Lee and Lyn were excellent hosts. Our welcome was warm and informative and they were both super friendly, there was no limit to their hospitality.“The Pines” is a fabulous building set in Tree’d surroundings with classic Victorian architectural details, from its coloured glass windows, fabulous galleried ‘Douglas Fir’ staircase to ornate fibrous plaster ceilings.Our en-suite room was tastefully decorated and furnished. The bed was super-comfy with quality linen. The breakfast put most hotels to shame! Various options available. We had muesli with fruit , followed by poached egg & Avocado on granary toast and great coffee.I would highly recommend a stay here on a trip to Elgin.Thank you both for a very enjoyable two day stay. - Steve A
